BiteMe support
Help without the runaround.
Find quick answers about your data, weight and water tracking, Apple Health, meal estimates, and Apple Watch—or contact us if something still isn't right.
Where is my BiteMe data stored?
Food names, calories, macros, dates, favourites, and goals are kept in protected local storage on your devices. BiteMe does not require an account or store your nutrition history on its own servers.
Why is a meal photo estimate unavailable?
Meal-photo estimation requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Manual logging remains available on every supported device.
What does Health integration do?
When you enable it, BiteMe writes eligible logged calories to Apple Health as dietary energy. BiteMe does not read your Health data. You can turn access off at any time.
Can I log from my Apple Watch without my iPhone?
Yes. The Watch keeps a protected local copy and queues changes while your iPhone is unavailable. They transfer directly to the paired iPhone when the connection returns.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual entries or favourites inside BiteMe, or use Reset App in Settings for a complete local reset. Reset App also removes reminders and search data and requests cleanup of matching BiteMe Health samples.
Does BiteMe track macros?
Yes, optionally. Turn on Advanced Mode in Settings to show protein, carbohydrate, and fat fields and summaries. Leave it off for a calorie-focused experience.
Can I track my weight and water?
Yes. You can log weight measurements, follow your weight trend, and record water throughout the day against a daily hydration goal.
Privacy question?
Our privacy policy explains what stays on your device and which optional Apple services BiteMe can use.
